Meet Maya Torres – The Mind Behind The Business Hustler

I’m Maya Torres, and my journey into entrepreneurship started with nothing more than determination, resilience, and a willingness to hustle. From my early days in sales — knocking on doors and learning to turn rejection into motivation — to studying marketing and entrepreneurship at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, I built the foundation for what would later become my entrepreneurial path.

With just $500, I launched a side digital marketing project. What began as a small hustle grew into a successful agency, giving me the confidence to fully step into entrepreneurship. Along the way, I realized that many aspiring hustlers struggle not because of a lack of ambition, but because they lack strategies, guidance, and the right mindset.

That’s why I created The Business Hustler — a platform where I share stories, practical tips, and strategies designed to help you hustle smarter, not harder. Whether you’re starting from scratch or scaling your side business into something bigger, I’m here to guide you with the lessons I’ve learned on my own journey. If you’ve ever felt the spark to build more than just a paycheck, then you’re already a hustler — and you’re in the right place.
